 I forgot to mention that when this truck is running it will be donated to one of the RCM members.

Great idea! How do you plan on choosing who to give it to? There have been some shady dealings on PIF lately so I hope that person doesn't get it. Someone who wants it but doesn't need it shouldn't have a chance, sorry linc but you already have to many Maxx trucks! If you have a plan for how to choose I would be willing to make a donation or two.

I don't know if Mike would allow it but a raffle would be fun to do! Add up what it has cost you and sell a limited number of tickets at a price to cover expenses and a small bit to cover your time maybe? Or 50/50 and donate to a charity!

If Mike sees this I would almost suggest doing something like that for himself! Put together one of them sweet RC8T truggies with a MMM combo and sell tickets for $5-10 each, sell enough to make some money! I can't afford one of these but I can always come up with a few bucks for a chance to win one!

Sorry for the slight hijack but let us know how you plan on giving it away, more might be willing to donate.

I will be sending out motors next week, since I'm already making a shipment I will include any Maxx parts I have that I can find. I know I have 1 A-arm and 1 bulk

Honestly my preference would be an ebay auction or such with proceeds to a children's charity...

BL_RV0 02.07.2009 09:21 PM

Thanks e-revonut!!!!
Raffle tickets will be $5 for the first ticket and $3/ea for more tickets. All money will go to a charity or children's fund or something... Please post up places where I can donate to!

Why not an animal shelter or something? Habitat for humanity is good, JDRF is also good.

I've got some CVD's? i think a full set of knuckles, and a few other things, where do i send them?

brushlessboy16 02.08.2009 01:42 AM

you should ask Teamsix to see if he could donate a body with something special on it, commemorative. :)
