just finished breaking in my LST then I broke it litterly :M: any suggestions on what kind of a arms are best . what do you think of RPM a arms? Thanks for your input
|
i did the exact same thing! -lol- I have neweramodels a-arms on my LST - but i think they're fairly heavy - although very strong :)
But there'd be nothing wrong with the RPM arms i dont think - havent heard of any of them snapping anyways.... Did u get through run-in ok? hope we all helped ya some :) |
You realy did didn't you :p :L: I haven't heard anything bad about RPM's either
|

they're pretty pussy arms on the old version - dunno bout the LST2 tho... but the old ones are brittle and snap quite easily...
You could try boiling em i guess? Spose ur planning on new arms anyways tho :P *edit* -lmao- sylvester |
The old arms(LST1) seem to have voids in the mouldings.I was told it's when they pour the molds too fast or something.Haven't seen a broken LST2 arm yet to know if the same problem exists. The RPM arms would be the lightweight choice, the new era arms are OK and lighter than the Ti arms but the Ti arms are by far the toughest. All good choices really.
You'd have to change hubs, bearings, outer hinge pins, cvds and hexes to LST2 to run the new arms, all of which is untested so far so i'd put some RPM arms on for now.(unless you want to contribute by testing the new stuff) |
i wanna get some flex tek arms - but so pricey -lol-
|
RPM is always a good bet. Plus lifetime replacement warrenty. So you break one, they send you a new set ;)
|
yeah i would go with rpm arms.
