Hingepin mounts
I have broke both my front and rear hingepin mounts on my 8-t and was looking at buying some medal ones like the kings headz or gh hobby.. the gh hobby are a lot cheaper for the pair... I was just wondering if I was going to be kicking myself for not spending the extra money on the kings headz??

No comment on that I tried the lunsford ones for my CRT.5 but they were weaker than steel...
Did you pick up that RC8 conversion kit? He's desparate... |
If I buy everything from mike it is only 130 and I really don't need the battery.. I should buy it and sell the battery but I am trying to buy e-revo locally..
|
I'm sure you can pimp the battery here for a few $'s and get it really cheap...

Where can I buy Kings headz parts for cheap that has stuff in stock?? also whats the difference in all of the toe measurements?
|
I got my kings headz stuff from them.I have the king headz stuff on my x1crt and it is very nice. There are set screws so the hinge pins doe'nt pivot in the blocks and wear them out. I would save the money for them.http://www.kingheads.com/

Can I just buy the outer pieces and use the stock inner pieces? These parts can add up quick...
|
If they have the same degree as the stock ones you should ba able to.

I'd go with M2C racing mounts. They're incredible. I've been running them on my 8 for well over a year with zero problems. They use a pillow ball insert on the ends of the pins which allows super free suspension movement, and they're really strong.
