Futaba 4pk Question

I just posted this over at RCtech, but thought I should ask here too. I think this will be a pretty easy question . . . how do I bind another RX to my 4pk? I just got another r604fs and can't get it to bind. The RX is blinking green so I know it's getting a signal, but my TX still says M1. Do I need to select M2 first? If so, how do I do it? Thanks guys.

Did it come with a manual? Sometimes they contain useful information :rules:

Yeah, yeah - real funny. Yes, it did come with the manual, and yes I've actually read it. It tells you how to bind a RX, and it worked great with the one it came with. The problem is that the manual doesn't tell you what to do for a second RX. The manual tells me that the blinking green light means it's getting a signal but it's the wrong model - but doesn't tell me what to do about it.

Anyway, I'm sure it's somewhere in the 100+ page manual but I can't find it.

Try changing models. I had no problem binding a few to mine, but had to change models.

Well, I thought you select the model under the MSEL button - right? On my display screen it has an asterisk in front of it (*MSEL). When I go to select M2 on the screen it won't let me select it. I can just cursor over it or any other model, but that's all.

What am I missing?

Ok, I got it. Sammus wins - it was in the manual

On page 98 it tells me to hold down the + & - buttons at the same time to create a new model. Totally missed that. Well, thanks for the exercise.

The manual is quite bulky I will say. I couldn't find the trick, and didn't remember what I did.

What I want to know is what happens when you need to bind a different RX on the same model. Haven't figured that one out yet.

Haha I'm just bein' a jerk anyway  glad to hear it worked out. I've often not applied certain settings on my 3PM because I forgot to hold down + and - when I choose stuff.
