well i have started my conversion and i'm going to have to make some modifications to my servo tray and to my reer brace unless i made some mistake i won't be abble to use my mechanical brake and the screws on the buttom of the motor mount are need to be shorter than the screws that were there, by the way i am sorry for my english but i am a french canadian i hope i don't make to many mistekes and everybody understand me:oops:
|
it's me again and by the way i am putting a mamba monster with a 2200kv if anyone have any suggestions for the gears please i think i got a 18t with the motor

I speak french so I can help you out.
man my english must be really bad if the only guy that answer my post do it in french

The motor mount just replaces the rear center diff bulkhead. You may need machine thread screws, as the lx1 has coarse thread screws holding in the plastic bulkhead. As for the battery tray...not sure as I have not used Mike's trays. Post some pics of the lx and we can see what you are doing! |
well thanks for my english, you are wright for the position of the motor mount and i found some shorter screws that fits very well now with the size of the motor i'm gonna have to take out the mechanical brake and the servo, i am taking a front brace and fit it at the rear because the rear one doesn't fit anymore so now the motor and the steerign servo are on the right and the batterie tray and my monster mamba are on the left of the buggyi have a few holes to drill and i should be in business. Man i can't wait to try it the only thing left to buy are a couple of nice 5s lipo batteries
