Shock stand offs
My suspension is RPM arms, UE knucklehead towers and UE RacerX supershocks. The UE stand offs are 6mm but the lower retaining cup and spring rub on my 3.3 sliders. Where can I get a bigger stand off? I know this sound big but 10 mm would remove any cantact.

Have you tried putting some washers between lower rod end and arms? By the way, what arms are you using? You can also use M3 washers on the standoffs.

Thanks for answering Lito.
I have RPM arms. Washers may be the best answer, but a longer stand off would also put the shock more vertical. I am worried about to large a stand off being prone to bending. |
Axial makes standoffs, don't have a link:whistle: but some minor searching should turn something up.

If anyone is following this thread, Axial spacers: http://www.axialracing.com/ftp/ax10o...s_spacers.html |
Also, the "6mm" is the diameter of where the shock goes on the stand-off, not the length of the stand-off, just so you know.

Hey Mark, let me see what I can dig up for you spacer-wise. I have a few different size Axial spacers plus some misc. others. However nothing quite 10mm though, I dont think.
I'll compare them with the stand-off's on my truck. Check TCS, RCP, or maybe CKRC. Those are crawler vendors that usually have several different size's & color's of spacers. I think TCS has a "NN" hardware kit that may have the spacers you desire. Let me do some researching this evening and I'll shoot you some links. |

I am using my 10mm spacers to raise my steering servo on my crawler. I only have 1. |
