Looks sturdy, what's the plan for that setup?

Sammus 02.19.2009 07:54 PM

That motor mount looks like it could be a little too flexible, what's it made from?

Hey finfin! I have one of those! :mdr: Are you running 4s/5s/6s? I hope your tires are belted- whatever voltage you run!

It's 1/8" aluminum. If he doesn't hit any jumps with it, it should be OK. I would definitely support rear end of the motor though. He's waiting for the RC-M mount anyways....

Very nice guys.

Sammus 02.19.2009 09:35 PM

Wow, that sure is a large pinion!

those cars look so sweet, if I had an onroad track nearby I'd build one for sure!

plettenbergs 02.19.2009 09:55 PM

that baby is gittin-it!:gasp:
what kind of radar gun is that?
Mohan has one in his video's!
i need one like that do you have a link?

BrianG 02.19.2009 10:34 PM

These 1/8 scale onroads are really fun, pretty simple to convert, and tough as nails (typical 1/8 scale). Although traction when cold is all but impossible.

What's_nitro? 02.20.2009 01:55 AM

Looks good so far. What are you gonna do for paint? 6s2p A123 is going to be awesome. It will have TONS of punch so watchout if you hit the throttle hard.
