i thought the green pinion was 32p?
|
i have no idea what it is lol
im not actually using it, i just threw it on there to look cool for now. ive got a 14t mod1 comin in the mail :) (should be here monday) i do know that green pinion is 18t which on the speed calculator is putting my top speed at over 80mph... lol lil too much i think :) |
oh ok. then yah its a 32p pinion so it would not work on your buggy. lol. when i sow it i was like no way it works on his car. cuase i wanted to use it cause it looks sick lol.
|
On 5s w/a 2200kv motor, that buggy is going to fly! My mbx-5 on 5s w/a 1512 1900kv motor is so fast, that on dirt, I had to turn down my punch control and I am only running 80% throttle on my radio!
Buggy looks nice by the way. |
i have it programmed to have no punch control right now
i have a feeling im going to be changing that after the first run lol im expecting it to be rediculous |

BTW: The CC pinions are 32p. |
The 2200 is a beast, i can clear my driveway off a plastic kicker ramp with about 5 feet runup.... its hard to hit the ramp cuz the truck is as wide as the ramp
I run no punch control, 0 timing and just have a smooth trigger finger |
i forgot what i set the timing to... lol
doesnt matter im gonna be bashing most the time anyways :) more power the better! waiting for my lipo is killing me!! |
Looking good, that thing looks killer like an
|
i just fabed a little platform for the receiver
and i cut a little slot on the end for the on off switch, it looks very clean like it was supposed to be there :) and i also started to do alittle wiring, i routed the servo wire and i shortened up the esc wire since it doesnt need to go that far. (cant really see wiring in pics, its more for the on off switch, i just spent like 2 hours messin around and makin it so im proud lol http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...8/IMG_0002.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...8/IMG_0001.jpg lipo and deans and uhhh oh yea the 14t pinion are comin in the mail monday or tuesday and on friday im using my pay check to order a DX3S radio system!! :) i think im gonna run it on my jrx2i for a week till i get my dx3s though i cant wait another week lol |
Looks good, though you need a countersink drill bit :)
|
Ah sweet!
Nice buggy there. |
looooky at my new controller! :) yay
DX3S FTW! Telemetry ftw! ive got a sensor lassoed around the motor, idk if u can see it in any of the pics, its just a black wire but i get motor temp read outs as well :) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...8/S7300473.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...8/S7300472.jpg messin with macro hehe http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...8/S7300477.jpg rpms set up :) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...8/S7300481.jpg pics of sensor mounting location... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...8/S7300483.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...8/S7300485.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...8/S7300474.jpg Finished!!! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...8/S7300470.jpg and i gotta install the other receiver into my slash one of these days.. lol one last pic i was tryin to get the "Got Brushless?" and MMM motor in the same shot :) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...8/S7300476.jpg |
