Custom CF Parts
 

Ok well a couple days ago i saw a thread about hobbycity having cf sheets well i started to think, why not make some of my own parts. These are the parts I am thinking of making are

Front Shock Tower
Rear Shock Tower
Receiver Plate
Esc Plate
Center Diff Plate
Front Brace Plate

Well my question is what thickness should I use for each part?
(NOTE: I am not going to do this now, just getting and idea and doing some drawings)

4-5 mm shock towers...depending on the vehicle

3mm everything else

Well am going to be doing this for my crt.5 but i have decided to no longer do the esc and receiver mount out of cf. More input would be appreciatted.

For your crt.5...I'd go w/4mm towers which should be plenty. I made my esc mount out of AL if that helps.
