MMM hold down bracket?

I know there was one for the E Revo with the combo I believe. I would really like a hold down bracket for the ESC to put in my Slash. Anyone know of one?

Thanks

I have been looking for one aswell to finish my build. The Traxxas part number for the BL E-Revo is #5626. I have sent away an email to Traxxas to find a date when they will be in stock and have been checking eBay for the last week reguarly to see if someone is taking one apart in the many chop shops, I have had no luck yet and are waiting on a reply from Traxxas. Will post here if I find anything out.

In the past Traxxas would sell kits months before they had parts. I had a TRX1 that I has to wait 2 months before I could fix over a steering part. I would not hold my breath for the 5626.

looks great man !! I've had the Traxxes hold down on order for 3 weeks. My LHS says the order bounces back because the part number is not recognised by their distributor but it's only a case of time before they get them.

Might make one of those myself - nice work

Indeed, that looks sweet phatmonk.

I have a slash and I just dremeled out the plastic parts that hold the stock esc in place. I then placed the MMM esc down on to the chassis(tight fit but will go) with some dual sided tape. This gave the esc a lower center of gravity . I had to do this because I mounted a kyosho 777 buggy body on it. My slash is a Backslash.

I like that idea. Just watch for wire chafing - carbon fiber is highly conductive.

I as well fabricated my own bracket using 1.5mm T6 6061 aluminum.

Traxxas have just listed them on their product site............out of stock at the moment, but won't be far away :yipi:

http://www.buytraxxas.com/advanced_s...artsearch.y=10

I just have to wait till someone puts them on eBay for $3 and not $40 odd as previouly sold, so I can get one (international people can't buy from Traxxas's site). Or if there is anyone out there in the good ole U S of A that would be happy to help us out when they are in stock and want to make a quick fiver then give us a PM

can anybody tell me why we can't have a buttom plate on our esc we could screw on our buggy's or trucks because in an offroad buggy i am scared of the esc getting loose in my buggy when i miss a jump is there any technical reason why we can't screw them in?

we are all messing around with velcro and zipties and 2 sided tape and i don't understand why to me it 's not safe

It is safe if it is done right. It sure would be much nicer and convenient to have a hold down bracket that is specifically made for it though. JMO

most of us are making somekind of plate for our center dif if there was some holes on our esc it would be much stronger no? and it would be so much easier to install
