Phoenix HV-110 question..
Does the Phoenix HV-110 have brakes?
|
Not the proportional type cars require. You need mechanical brakes if you use that ESC. And, CC probably won't warranty if they know it was used in a car.

thanks Brian, much appreciated.

as long as you dont have any intentions to race it will be a good ESC, I use one and I run in very large areas (basher) and dont use brakes..."using brakes is admitting defeat"

hmmm.......that might not be a bad thing. i have about 2 square miles of open grass/dirt to bash in...i guess i really wouldn't need the brakes. |
FYI: look at my sig if you decide on the HV110.

Been running my savage on a HV110 for a little while now and I like it alot. Works great, but like has been mentioned. You need to keep mechanical brakes.

The 8S monster is in load testing this week.
The 12S monster is in layout this week (circuit board design...) So we aren't too far off... My big issue will be if I can fit the 12S monster in the same packaging as the 6S and 8S monster. If not, we will need to design a new case, which will take more time. Patrick |
