Integy Knuckle question

Where can i find the plastic pillow ball caps for the integy aluminum knuckles? thanks

Guerilla 12.29.2005 09:04 AM

Rc-Monster, They are 3racing ones, ask Mike ................

Mike also has the aluminum ones with the o ring on them. I put the aluminum in with loctite. So far no problems.

Basketti 12.29.2005 07:17 PM

i use the stock ones with locktight on them. I think i put to much locktight on one cause now i cant un screw it lol! If i try anymore its gonna strip the hex.

coolhandcountry 12.29.2005 07:59 PM

If heat it up don't the loctite lose some of its hold. You may want to try it. If you have to get it out.

Basketti 12.29.2005 08:23 PM

i tried to heat it up with my soldering iron but it didnt work lol. its ok though i dont need to take it off.

If you run it long enough the knuckle may decide to fall off. :L:

Or you can try a blowdryer:p

HAHA yeah that would be my luck! i've had 3 wheel nuts come lose in the last two runs, also the steering servo screw(lucky it didnt get lost!). Its funny cause that last two times my dads had a turn the wheel comes off lol. he'll be driving around then the wheel will come off and roll away lol. So i've put lock tight on them now, hopefully they will be able to come lose when i want them to.

lol i would but me and my mate fried the last one. the cord had a cut in it where it connects with the blowdryer, and i told him to plug it in and turn it on(he didnt know about the cut) and there were heaps of sparks and a big bright light, and lots of sizzle noises lol. we nearly wet ourselves laughing lol. Sorry thats a bit off topic.

Thank you, but i'm looking for plastic caps. Plastic caps i believe are better (for aluminum knuckles) b/c they don't jam. Thats why ue's suspensions use platic caps as well. The are the ones ue sells, but i'm not sure if they fit the integy:

Do you know if the ue ones fit the stock knuckles? cause the integy knuckles take stock size caps.

Superemaxx89 12.30.2005 03:55 AM

I don't know, maybe someone on the forum can try out an old stock cap on their supermaxx knuckle.

Basketti 12.30.2005 04:05 AM

i have supermax pillow balls and they are the same size as stock ones so i guess the caps must be the same also.
