This is my slash I built from a rustler vxl. It has a Mamba Monster 2200kv system and mod1 gears with a Futaba 2.4ghz controller.

I can only run 4s for now because that is all I have but I plan on running 6s in the near future.

big greg 03.08.2009 04:47 PM

lol why? that thing has to be insanly overpowered

phildogg 03.08.2009 05:01 PM

is that the stock trans case or a FastLane?

The transmission is stock vxl and I had to mod it so the motor would fit. I have thought about upgrading to the FLM transmission but I dont want to make the rear end any heavier since the motor is already pretty heavy.

your gonna go through axles and output yokes like crazy unless you get a nice set of cvd's

Electricmammoth 03.08.2009 08:32 PM

I do have a set of cvd's that I run with my anacondas but I can't run them when I am running my 17mm buggy tires. My cvd's threads are a tad bit thicker than stock threads are and won't fit the 17mm hex adapters.I use Jato shafts when running buggy tires. so far no problems.

Unsullied_Spy 03.08.2009 09:32 PM

Nice. I had my Neu 1515 in my Rustler for a little bit but it was way too heavy and more power than I could possibly use. The Jato shafts and steel outputs held up fine, but I tore up stub axles like mad.

looks like fun, should be a blast on 6 cell

SpEEdyBL 03.09.2009 10:58 PM
