CM36 motors now ROAR legal in modified!!!
Big news guys!!!
ALL, yes ALL, CM36 motors are now ROAR legal in modified classes!!! That includes the ones that you've currently got in your rides!!! TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW!!!! |
Sweet, who did you have to bribe to get that done!?!?!?!
|
Niiiice! I'm in the UK, but still good to hear ROAR are finally listening. How on earth did this come about?
|
Niiiiice!! Even the ones with stickers eh? I assume future ones will be engraved/ printed with the info?
|
Nice.
Now we need them to tolerate soft cased lipo, good hardcased/Roar legal lipo a just overpriced... |
Hardcase packs will go down in price as they take the place of nimh in popularity. After using a few I love them for the durability.
|
A truly good quality hardcased pack over 3500 mah for 50 $ would be perfect.
I use loong max battery in my T4, they are like 30 $ and completly overkill for it :) |
woah how much did you have to fork out for that haha. Good to hear.
|
Mike's hardcase 5200mah packs are awesome! i love them.
|
Now we need to get them to allow CC/Neu, Neu, Tekno Neu, and Medusa motors for MT!!!
|
Well actually they already did. Apparenly any motor smaller than (I think) 67mm wide and 77 mm long was the proposition that I heard about and that is the only restraint. So pretty much any motor remotely practical for a 1/8 buggy qualifies.

I called my pastor, and can assure you, he said hell did not freeze over!
I am shocked, and glad. Whatever has gotten ROAR to stop suppressing technology is good for everyone. |

As far as ROAR loosening up on the rules, It could be that the members were watching the forums and realized they were losing members. There are more castle setups out there than the sensor setups |
