Savage Flux pinion gear other brand ?
 

The pinion gear on the motor wear pretty fast because steel is not too hardened, i want know what other brand of pinion fit on flux motor and the gear is mod 1 or 32 pitch ?

Get some of Mike's mod 1 hardened pinions(from the rcm store), they will last. And set your mesh correctly, I find that with steel on steel gears you can get the correct mesh by listening to them. If they are a bit loud the mesh is too tight. Open it up very slightly and try again. You will find the best mesh eventually, make very small adjustments, ends up being about the amount 2 sheets of copy paper can fit in between the gears...

Rcm = #1.

I have finally order RCM mod1 5mm 20 tooth today after destroying the original, i think the pinion gear was one of the weakest part on the flux.
