Lipo brand selection

Is there a general consensus here about which lipo brands offer the best bang for the buck. I was looking at the Monster store and all of the batteries. I'm looking at 3 cell high mah packs. Specifically a pair for the factory brushless revo. I have some maxamps packs that I would rate a 7 out of 10. These are older packs (over a year ago purchased) I was thinking of the hyperion ones as they seem to have the best price, but don't really know anything about them.

Thanks, Joel

Neuenergy are generally the best price on an enerland cell based pack.

Hyperion, neu, flightpower, thunderpower, polyquest and polyrc all use enerland cells. I am partial to flightpower, but any of those listed brands are great. You will not be dissapointed with a hperion lipo, and will think less of your maxamps packs. As for size, a pair of 4500-5000 25-30c 3s lipos will do fine in the erevo.

As far as maxamps being 7 out of 10... in that case any enerland based pack is a 15 out of 10... Maxamps suck, I have fixed more than I want to remember. Check out my lipo repair thread in my sig for more lipo info.

i ll take that with a grain of salt....Maxamp packs are overrated to begin with and they are expensive. I would rate either True Rc or Zippy lipos as being the best pack for the money. You can get some good deals on Poly Rc lipos @ Rc Lipos, they have a 30% off sale on thier 25c packs

I'd look at mike's lipos - They seem good value and have very good reviews.

When you say "Mikes" lipos are you talking about the Magnum's? I'm a bit out of the loop as I have not messed with my truck or this site in a year or so.
