IIRC, the MMM wasn't even out yet this time last year. I believe it was sometime around late April to early May when they hit the shelves.

I would like to quote Patrick on this one:

"The way we are handling V1 is this -- we will replace any V1, in warranty, out of warranty, etc."

Call castle, be I believe all v1 will be replaced for no cost

I remember Patrick saying that as well. All V1 MMM's basically have a lifetime warranty.

Newb Question....

How can you tell which version you have?

My Mamba Monster ESC came on the Gmaxx I got off ebay.

There is a sticker on the bottom of the circuit board inside the case. I believe simply opening the case doesn't void your warranty, so go ahead and check.

Thanks! I will take a look....

castle will replace all V1's and V2's no questions asked....and to find out if you have a REAL V3.....part of the circuit board will be a dark blue instead of the WHOLE circuit board being green...(In simple terms...the smaller square will be blue and the square its sitting on will be green INSTEAD of both being green)....it's an easy way for castle to distinguish the V3's from the V1's and V2's....
