Anyone doing any mods to the new e-maxx trans?

I am looking at one for my REVO conversion,....yes, Revo, and was wondering if anyone has modded one. I want to make it bullettproof as I can

The new trannys seem to be holding up well. As much as I'm on here I haven't seen anyone complaining about blowing one. I would like to see a half case like the G-Maxx single speed cover for the original. It is a pretty big transmission and most of it is unneeded.

I dont think there are any mods, just throw a little grease in there to quiet down the gears... Only thing that would make them stronger is throw them in this case.. LINK to Ebay

Stronger as non-flexing

Can anyone tell me if the mounting sides sit correct on the gorilla maxx chassis's, If so, i could drill and tap that. (I know Linc will get some fun out of that)

Anywayyyyy...

No, wont fit the old Gmaxx chassis as the tranny is narrower, and mounting points are closer together- hence the mounting adaptor sold by FLM briefly...
