At high speeds, the wing might do something. All it does at full scale is provide downforce to increase traction (rc speed run car) and provide stability.

Look at those old roadrunners with the giant wings. When they were used at nascar tracks they had to put tons of support in the trunk where the wing connects to the body because the wing provided over 300 pounds of downforce.

Maybe its just me, but when I went to a wing on my Revo, it seemed to be WAY more controllable at about 30+ mph and seemed to fly much straighter.

it increases handling, and acts as a stabilization tail in flights
