Gear sound?

I am and was running the 32 pitch gears on my Rustler. When I had them on my Slash I noticed when turning the spur gear or pinion they made a kind of grinding sound. It ran fine with no issues and rolled freely when pushing it along. I now installed the same gears on my new Rustler and notice the same thing. Is this a common thing with noise? It is more like a grinding and it kind of clicks when you turn it. I tried setting the mesh tighter and looser and still got the same thing. I am using a 19t 0.8 pinion with a 56t 0.8 spur. Like I said you push it and there is no binding or anything.

Don't know if this is relevant but here it goes anyway.
I have same kind "issue" when I installed mmm combo to my truck. Before that I had feigao motor in it and the gear sound was smooth. Im quite sure that the "issue" in my case is that the cc neu motor has stronger magnets and its harder to turn the shaft. So it's doing the sound for the gears when pushing the truck. When running the sound is smooth.
I know im comparing apples to oranges, but could it be samekind of issue?

Edit:.Typos & some clarifyings :intello:

Try Eureka belt and gear grease, i tested it and it made my car quiet, used it only on pinion and spur.

Exactly mine rolls smooth without any resistance and like you said it sounds good when it is running.

I wouldn't be worried then. Easy fix, stop pushing the Rustler, drive it
