Setting up controller

Is there a benefit to setting up my controller when I program my brushless to have reverse or should I just make it as brakes. Is there a benefit to forward and reverse or is it better for forward and brake? Is this just a preference thing? I have the stock emaxx controller. I will upgrade soon bit for now does it make a difference. Kinda new to the emaxx world so thanks for all the help guys.. Makana

im not sure but it MIGHT be a little easier on the controller. not sure though. if reverse isnt a big loss to you the i wouldnt use it.

thanks man. Ill try it without the reverse and see how it is.

I personally keep reverse on for all of the speed controllers I use. It always helps when bashing and practicing to have reverse.

When racing, of course, reverse cannot be used in nearly all situations. Reverse should be disabled during racing, where possible.

thanks man.. So i guess reverse doesnt change anything as far as speed. Its all the same and just a preference.

Yeah, reverse doesnt change anything , it just gives you reverse:p Its a whole different story with nitros....
