Another Great Engineering Game

Inginuity Welcome "coconut run"- http://www.ingenuitywelcome.com/game/

Been playing it for almost a year now in school. Its a pretty addicting game. My fastest time was 14 seconds with 14/15 coconuts. Fastest recorded record is 9 seconds with 15/15 coconuts. Please share your scores.

What was your eff, time and percentage?

MetalMan 03.27.2009 03:19 PM

That is a very addicting game! Lots of fun for sure. So far my best is 95% 18s 15/15.

Now 98% 17s 15/15 with a self-closing lid.

I agree. My best is only 15/15 @ 24s though. I can't seem to drive fast enough. :mdr:

IDK if its just me but its seems if you can manage to make a platform solidy locked to the wheels and then make a basket which has shocks mounted to the lower solid axle it tends to move alot faster.

Like this...

And my fastest one yet which made 14secs along time ago was something like this. I still was not able to completely copy it in order to make it perform just as well as before. I also put a wheel on the top supported by shocks and a stick attached to the wheel which closes the hatch on top to somewhat help keep the coconuts in while bouncing.

15s 14/15 93% :P

14s 15/15 100% :D

Doesn't seem to work too well for me. The fastest I can get the cart to go regardless of the coconuts is like 35-40 seconds. I watched some youtube video and the cart goes wayy faster on those. What am I doing wrong?

johnrobholmes 03.27.2009 07:35 PM

14 sec, 15/15

johnrobholmes 03.27.2009 07:38 PM

13 sec 15/15

Metal- the less amount of objects, the faster. Also dont use super big or super small wheels.

Metallover 03.27.2009 07:47 PM

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

15/15 100% Eff, in 13 Seconds!
Same method as with RC: low cg is king ;)
