3 speed adjustment
 

I like to know how you adjust the three speed tranny. I can adjust the second gear easy. I don't know how to do the thrid gear. There is two holes in the side. One is for second the other is for a gear. Some one has ideas. Does it even need adjusting?

according to rc car action theirs didn't need adjustment, but if you do you have to take the tranny apartto get to the third gear adjustment

well I got it to shift to second. I have not got thrid yet. I changed the clutch bell back to a 15 from a 17. That sucks to take tranny apart for adjust ment. That is not good. I don't know how much I have to change for it to work right. :( Could I drill a hole and put a plug in it like the first gear. Where was that article at jr.?

Well I took the tranny apart. I can adjust thrid like the second in a two speed. I can not adjust the 2nd gear with out taking tranny apart and pulling the gears off shaft. This is excess work for a few rpm difference. I think the 2 speed is better for this. I may put the 2 speed back in for the easier access. I read up on that though Serum. Thanks!
