MMM installed in losi 8ight with traxxas mount
 

look at this!. the traxxas mount actually just fits right in the stock holes for the junk xcellrom esc. BUT look underneath. the MMM is vonerable. ideas????

i mean the whole losi battery tray is gonna break like this. hey MIKE!!!!! make a aluminum chassis spacer thing to protect this??????:-)

or you can re-tap the holes and move it more towards the center.. :)

yes BUT it was so cool it lined up. plus not much plastic there if you move it. have to use a nut. plus the battery tray still sticks out.

I just realized this....but on my SC8 conversion I used a delrin spacer and mounted the Losi Battery tray and the esc portion of it sticks out as well...

and i've been pretty hard on this thing as you can see from all the dirt/mud and have been track bashing/racing it for the past couple months and the MMM is just fine...i've ran through puddles, nosed into jumps, and landed big air and all was well....but i completely understand if you want to have piece of mind in terms of protection for your $130 investment...:yes:
