Running two 2S packs as a 4s,did I do this right?

Okay,I bought two 2s packs and want to run them as a 4s. I will also be using them individually at times to run my slash. I made this at work today......

I plugged the packs in first and then the esc and there was a very small spark at the connector as the contacts touched, the esc was turned off,is this supposed to happen? I just don't wanna burn this thing up before I even run it I'm afraid to plug it into the esc fully lol

If you truly made your connector like that link, then it's right. The spark is normal, that's just the ESC caps charging fast.
