What do you mean "brakes is working backwards"?

laser_cart 04.02.2009 01:43 PM

im still using mechanical brakes and when i give brakes the servo goes the wrong way

Arct1k 04.02.2009 01:58 PM

Are you using mixing you need to probably invert that chanel

laser_cart 04.02.2009 02:03 PM

I'm running a Y harness on channel 2 for the ESC and brake servo

Sounds like you are using a y cable. Nothing you can do for that except put the linkage 180 deg from where it is now so that the lever action works in the correct direction. I had to do this with my revo.

im using a y cable i will try that but when i hit the brakes the RED light comes on does this mean something is wrong

red light on the esc Is good, that means its going to brake.

Have you tried a reversing Y harness?

laser_cart 04.02.2009 02:49 PM

I got it working moved servo arm and HOLY CRAP what a difference BUT it sometimes twitches l

brushlessboy16 04.02.2009 02:49 PM

lock the trans and use motor brakes then :)

If you did that you would have fried the onboard electronics on the servo.
