possible differential problem...
 

hey guys
i have an erbe and so far have only ran 12cell nimhs which belong to my friend. the gearing is 18/54. the rear differential has a "sticky" spot. when i spin the spur it gets slighty hard to spin for like an 8th of a rotation then it is free. i hear the noises coming from the rear diff. its not the center driveshafts. maybe a bent pinion tooth? it always happens one rotation of the half shafts any help appreciated.

sounds like a diff is failing. run it till it breaks then buy RC Monster V3 1/8 scale diffs and cases:yes::yes:

haha. ill stick with stockers til they blow and buy more stockers. could a replace anything. like a pinion or ring gear? or should i buy i new diff?

Generally good to replace the ring and pinion at the same time. Pick up some shims too, and spend some time getting the mesh just right. That time will pay off with much longer component life!!!

Linc makes a good point. V3's are just bulletproof.
