Titanium CRT .5
Updated CRT.5 - I picked up a great deal on the CNC parts so picked up front and rear Hubs, Knuckles and the Servo saver...
Then I stumbled across these Lunsford titanium grinder links and thought they'd beef up the .5 nicely... Lastly I replaced the flimsy top front turnbuckle with a 4mm 20mm gub screw and revo rod end... I was going to mount the esc behind the battery but then decided to lift it off the chassis to avoid dirt/water - instead I made a custom top plate over centre diff. This should make everything a bit more robust... :diablo: http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u...T5-RCM/008.jpg http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u...T5-RCM/009.jpg http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u...-RCM/010-1.jpg http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u...T5-RCM/017.jpg http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u...-RCM/011-1.jpg http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u...T5-RCM/013.jpg |
I spy a Medusa Motor in there. LOL
Which motor is it and what voltage do you have it on? Do the Diffs hold up pretty well in these? |
I have yet to hear or anyone blowing up a diff in these. I run mine on a 4s Neu 1509 1.5Y and the diffs are smooth as butter. I'd really like to get some of those CNC hubs and carriers, if they'd show up somewhere for a reasonable price I'd jump on them.
Those Ti links look great for the rear as well :great:, I have some Lunford Ti turn buckles coming in the mail for my front end, can't wait for them to get here |
Looks nice Chris. James, That is a 3300 50mm medusa on 3s IIRC.

Nice Truck

Nice Chris...I would love to do the F&R and steering servo AL upgrades, but the price..ouch! If bought all together form say Tower, it would total over $200- for the pieces!
