pricing Q

Hi Boys !

I'm selling one of my project trucks (didn't even use it yet).

Do you think my pricing is about right?

if you still have the stock parts...i would put the stock stuff back on and then sell the UE/FLM/MMM stuff separately....you might get more money that way....not everyone on ebay will appreciate the hard work/time/effort/money that you've invested in the G-maxx project...or you can buy a traxxas tq2 rx/tx off ebay for around $30 and sell this thing as a RTR which might spark some interest in the ebayers....as for the $1000+ price tag YES it is worth that much BUT it might not sell for that much.....

That's pretty much how I figured it.
As far as a cheapo radio, I actually have one but thought that anybody wanting this would be of a more experienced level and would want to stick their own 2.4ghz radio in it.

very true....but you have to remember that, even they are not even close to the same quality/price/performance, you are almost directly competing with the RTR savage flux & brushless e-revo....a more experienced RC'er will recognize how expensive your setup truely is but I doubt they will be willing to pay over a grand for it....which actually sucks because you've probably spent way more than what you listed the truck as....

Well I have enabled "best offer' with an auto accept set at 900 I think. I'd take probably 850 for her if the offer came in but let's see.

I must agree with the idea of selling it with a radio, even if it is a cheapo. Yes the more experienced R/C'r wouldn't need it, but you may be surprized by who buys it with the radio available as an RTR option. You have a nice project there, and the way you put the step-by-step tutorial together was a great way to share the experience with all of us. Nice work. I am much like you in that I truly enjoy the build more than anything else. Good luck with the sale, and with your next project Sir.
