Kyosho st-rr truggy build help

I am starting a build. turning my st-rr into a bl menace. It is actuly a r converted to a rr. I just bought a 2200mmm and I think I am going to use either a 6s or 5s battery. I have a metal spur in it now for the nitro day. NOt sure what diff fluid to use becuase electric is a whole new animals for me. Also what pinion and spur combo do i need. WHy do people switch to plastic spur gears? THanks for all the help!

first off if you are racing run 4s and if you want to just have fun then 5s going to 6s and it will become too out of control, your tires will be constant dinner plates.....diff fluid will aso depend on your style, if you have expierence with nitros just go with what you have in the past. I prefer plastic spurs they are more quiet and produce less heat. If you are stripping spurs you have an issue elsewhere in your setup that needs to be addressed

I am not going to be racing as much as bashing and having fun with it. That is why I am switching from nitro to electric. Dinner plates would be cool. I keep getting the idea the 6 cell is over kill. I guess I might go with the 5 cell then. My freind runs 6 sell in his brushless e revo. I want to be faster then him :na:
I think I need to use thicker diff fluid in the center becuase the increas in power. I am thinking about running 3/20/10 or 3/15/10. or 3/20/7 some where around that. I got info from mike. Think he says racing use 10 to 15 and bashers use 25 to 30. So i was thinking 20? would be good for me. So If i want i could through it on a track. I also have on road tires for the truggy. So i figure 6s on road high speed passes? dounuts would be awsome?

dinner plates look cool for a short while but that decreases perfromance and control and if you want to mostly bash I would run at least 30k and you could go up to 100k a few people I know run it that thick

so five cell is the way to go i guess. I want the lowest wt oil before i lose wheelies. I guess I just have to do alot of testing.
