How to put a heat shrink on a ESC?

Hi Guys,

Some months ago I bought a Mamba-25 ESC, but the heat shrink around the ESC tore. Ok, so now I want to put a new over the ESC, but how should I do this? Because castle has done this very well. Look at this pic:

How should I do this? And it should be tight around the ESC, not loose of course

Thank you,

Patrick

Best thing is to find heatshrink that fits as tight as possible before you shrink it. Cut it about 1/4" longer on each end, 1/2" total, and evenly apply low heat to it. If you heat it too fast it will distort, and if you apply too much heat it will melt. A std hair dryer will work fine. I use a heat gun, but move quickly and do not get too close.

Ok thank you! I already thought about something like that. But wasn't 100% sure about it.

Thank you!
