settings question
 

what kind of settings do you think are good for low temps on a motor , im running a MMM v3 with a feagio 8xl and geared 13/48 , and my temps were close to 200 on the motor , i want to keep the temps down as much as i can , thx joe

right now i have
50% punch and every thing else stock

Increase punch more and lower timing. No matter what, Feigaos tend to run hot after ~10-15 minutes even in a perfect setup. You could try adjusting gearing up or down a couple teeth and see what works best for the temps.

Also, what kind of driving do you do?

Lots of WOT runs with little stop and go: gear up a bit.

Hardly any WOT runs, but a lot of stop and go: gear down a bit.

i run on a small indoor track only WOT for mabey 1-2 sec :) lol so more punch , and lower the timeing ? last week we lowered the timing and it was CRAZY fast down the str8 and the motor was burning up like 200+ whats a no no point for feigao's?

You lowered the timing and it got faster?

And hotter???
