cooked a lipo..MMM survived

was testing out a new rEvo 2.5 3905 conversion.
has center diff too.

but long story short, 6s lipo + no body = wheelie, gravel rash + lipo = fire...BAD:surprised:

well i ripped the lipo out of the truck on instinct and pulled off the burning cell (while it was still burning) and threw it into the dam.
the 5th cell had heat dammage so i de-soldered that one too...then blew that up for fun...

and now the zippy-H 6s 20-30c pack is a 4s:oh:
MMM is fine...motor has scratch :oops:

now only have 4s and 5s for tomorrows race

DO NOT MAKE TEST RUNS IN A REVO CONVERT WITHOUT BODY...EVEN WITH A CENTER DIFF!!!!

at least you still managed to save most of your battery pack.:whistle:


running without the body usually just gets my body posts ground down on my trucks.

raced with the semi dead 6s pack...that is now a 4s...
worked great!!
did all 3 heats on it and did the main on the 5s:lol:
when comming down the straight....the moment the front tyres left the ground i got off the throttle and hada perfect speed for the first turn:smile:

i might try the center diff again with some less balooning tyres.
iwas using zombi maxes yesterday casue it's a grass track...but next meet were back on clay so i bought some MTR crime fighters.
give the center diff another bash:yipi:
