Really good deal on the MGT 3.0

Tower Hobbies has discounted these big time. 220, plus they are offering 25 off purchases $200+. So with std shipping you can score one up for 205 bucks... Sell the nitro stuff and the radio gear and you could have a roller for around 100 bucks...

Similar in size to a max truck, and the layout lends itself to a rear mounted motor and a forward mounted battery tray. My only issue is the 2 spider diffs... Might be too weak for a big setup...

Have fun, I guess you can be the guinea pig on whether the diffs are worth a crap.

Haha, how does dual 600XL's on 5s sound? :mdr: I think it will sound very nice!

:surprised:
DUAL 600XL's?

Crap if my dad would pay me for some work I did for him, I could buy one................ :diablo:

I was thinking it would do well with a single c50 L can on 5s....

But dual 600xl motors would be spiffy!

I have a couple of them sitting around*, and I have the two Neu 30C 3300 5s packs from FMA. I just need another controller, probably another LT-6s 150A (:mdr:), some pinions ,and I'll need to make a dual-motor mount. In the event the diffs do go nuclear on me, are there upgrades/mods available?

*Both are the 1650kV versions.
