Castle Creations MIA

Where are these guys? Patrick has not been on-line since 3-5-09??? What are they doing?? Where is the 1800kv motor??? Are they up to something???

Just curious....

Joe Ford is the only one that I can find that has been active recently. (today actually) They must be really busy.

PedeBasher 04.21.2009 07:34 PM

Yeah RCX probably had them quite busy.

Maybe now that the MMM debacle is over, they are no longer on getting as much feedback via browsing the forums?

BP-Revo 04.21.2009 08:18 PM

I saw both Joe and Patrick at RCX. Had a pretty good discussion with Patrick about the upcoming MMM HV. He said the current one uses 36 30V FETs. The HV will use 60 60V FETs, but will still fit in the same case.

I did not see the 1800KV 15 sized motor, but I did see a 17 sized 1500kv motor. It is 2x as powerful and has 3x the torque of the 2200kv motor.

Did you get a approximate release date on either of those items?

jacobsjo87 04.21.2009 10:00 PM

17 series! :surprised: Cool!

Semi Pro 04.21.2009 11:05 PM

i would be really inpressed if they put out the 17's motors

He probably hasn't been on here because of the trash talk he was having to listen to from some people that took MMM failures personally.:eyes:

I didn't realize that happened. What a shame.

BrianG 04.22.2009 03:29 PM

Yeah, back when V1's were dropping BECs left and right, then when some of the V2's flamed up, many people were whining about it and that a product should be fairly trouble-free. Probably the same people whining that the MMM release was delayed. :sarcastic: Just can't please some people!

sikeston34m 04.22.2009 05:52 PM

Well I don't know if that's it or not.

Should we start watching for Patrick's picture on the Milk Cartons?

He should know he's welcome and appreciated here.

i am still waiting on my warranty work from them too, but i have patience, no need to pester them in my mind. they do great work, and warranty work is free. i dont think i should complain.
