Can I use T8 motor with hobbywing 150 esc?

Hi, I m currently using hobbywing 150esc with medusa v2 motor.

Temp is abit on d high side as I run 30mins main, will T8 motor be better or more efficient as it's sensored too.

My gear is 50/12 on x1 CRT, 6s 5000 zippy. Hv motor sink/fan also.thx

The sensored part only helps during startup. Whenever the car is moving the esc will act no different than a sensorless esc. Any sensorless esc will be able to run that motor (without the sensors plugged in of course) as well as any esc that is both sensored and sensorless.

I thought the tekin motors are more efficient? They r bigger also. Surely there's a difference

Sorry, it sounded like you were refering to the efficiency of sensored vs. sensorless startup. The tekin should definately run cooler than the the medusa, any is probably more efficient, but i can't make any claims since I have not seen either run.

I found the reason y t8 motors are cooler they are using 70mm for buggy n 80mm for truggy, I m using medusa 70mm for my CRT. I m thinking shld I change anot

You should be fine with a T8. I'd reccomend the truggy motor for the truggy of course.

On 6s try the 1350 or 1550.
