lipo battery opinion

If you have a 1515 2200 kv running on 6S on an Lst2 with a 8k 6S M.A. and it doesn't even get warm it should be good correct as it's not getting overdischarge right? Can you guys give some input on these as I need to know if this was the cause of my ESC Hydra 240 failure with a 1527 1D 2300 kv motor lighting up my ESC on fire. The batts barely even gets warm at the time. Thanks in advance.

in my experience, the colder the temp the better it will perform. like batteries, any temp under 130F is good. also it is better to have a high"C" rating like 20 or higher if possible. because then the battery can discharge fast and keep up with the ESC. And keep the motor temp usually under 140F to be safe.

That is what I thought. I have been playing with brushless ever since FD brushless came out but with this one setup, I have been told by CC that my batts were at fault that is why the Hydra 240 went into flames. I do have a
functioning watercooling for the ESC and motor. My setup was 1527 1D, 34/63 gears stock Lst2 FOC, 6S 25C 8k MAH Maxamps, 61mm extended LSt2,
CEN Genesis and a 15+lbs truck with the full gear. It has tons of power but after 6 min it came on fire, the batts are barely even warm so I know the batts was handling the current pretty good as it is not even getting hot.
I know the motor is an amp hog but I thought the batts should get hot under load but it wasn't the case here.
