Castle 2200 neu style motor? Maybe just get the HW motors, they seem to be ok.

I have the HW 2300 Kv motor but but i thougt of getting a faster motor. Is the Castle 2200 motor faster?

No, but speed and quality/suitability are two different things.

Kv = rpms per volt, so the HW motor is faster by a tiny amount.

The HW motor would be fine for the erevo, and if the Pimp says they work fine then thats a good sign.

The Castle motor would be more powerful & better quality/ temps no doubt, but it depends on your budget; an 80amp esc isnt ideal for a big MT, I would go go easy whatever motor you get..

Sounds like a good move, the mm combo can product more power than the hw80 and can handle higher voltage. So you can gear it for higher speeds and get more torque too.

The HW80 makes a decent choice for a buggy on 4s with a decent motor (Castle Neu, Medusa, etc) but the fan is required. If it fails or you decide not to use it, the ESC will overheat.

This ESC works really well in my Slash on 4s though, and without the fan.
