bulkless question
OK, so im a little confused on this whole bulkless thing. When i get the bulkless setup for my E-Maxx, what will i need exactly to make the 7.5 8 spider diff's work? Do i just need the gear set or the SuperMaxx UltraLite 7.5 Differential Kit, 8 Spyder.
~~Thanks |
Just get the UE kit, all the needed goodies are included, including the right drivecups.
You might experience some trouble with the length of the drivecup, when you use normal 1/8th diffs. (i know that the normal ofna 7.5 8spider drivecups are too short, the dogbone/CVD is too far out.) |
I have not had this problem serum. I have the ofna diffs with the cvds. Seem to work great.
so wait.. if i get the bulkless hybrid, do i need just the gear set or the whole diff casing kit made by UE??
you only need the gears and diff, not the diff housing. The flm hybrid bulk is the bulkhead+ the diff housing in one.
i think the hybrids come in a set of front and rear? But yes all u need is the 8 spider gear set and the hybrid bulks
The flm comes as a set.
thanks, what CVD's will i need. Im getting the Integy Racer X suspension.
MIP or UE cvds are needed. UEs work the best, though(a little longer).
get a set of booties for those UE's. it prevents them from wearing. and use a good dry lubrication. (you can find it in your bicycle store)
are these the ones i shoud get??
