Looking for a large scale buggy body
As the title says, I have yet another large scale project in the works, and need to find a buggy body that is large than 1/8 scale.
So far the best bet has been the xtm xlb body, but I would really like something a bit bigger. I know that Bergonzoni has a nice looking 6th scale body, but finding one for sale has been very difficult. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! |
How about a Firehammer, MCD Racerunner or one of the many other carson/fg buggy clones?
http://www.imexrc.com/servlet/the-45...BLASTER/Detail I think I may have found a body to start my next project: http://cgi.ebay.com/1-5-scale-Challe...QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/1-5-scale-Mustan...QQcmdZViewItem wish they had a camaro though. |
Kinda want something that looks a bit more like a 1/8 buggy, just bigger...

That makes it a little bit harder. If you didn't have so many projects I'd say break out the welder and some 20-24ga and make one, probably wouldn't be as heavy as you might think. Something like this isn't all that hard, especially for a body guy, just time consuming. That and being afraid to run it hard for fear of messing it up is the other drawback to a metal body.

Nice looking buggy. I will be making some tube cages for the 5t savage to support the big proline body, hopefully it will last longer that way.
I will see what I can come up with. |
Clicky A few interesting results...
