Good work. I gotta ask though- how did you get that blob of solder there...
|
That's easy to do with those copper-clad rings. They heat up really fast so even a falling bit of solder stick to them. But, it's nothing a little trimming of the PCB won't fix. And, if you heat up the unused rings, they tend to come off fairly easily.
Nice job! |
Yea I was trying to move it from the pin and I did it a little bit to quick and a small drop fell and then I tried to remove it but it only made it worse. I'm going to add Two 3S plugs on there too.
|
Some solder wick would clean it up if you plan on doing more to that board.
Also, be sure to clearly mark the connectors, because if you also use the main Y harness and you accidentally swap the balance connectors the wrong way, you will burn up something. |
OK I will do that. I think I'm going to put a red dot on the "hot" one as a small reminder. I'm going to add Dual 3S Charging on the board too.
In the end I want to have: Two 2S Charging Two 3S Charging Three 2S Charging |
It is safer IIRC not to bridge both packs in the middle and to let the Y lead be the bridge...
|
What does IIRC mean?

If I Remember Correctly.
Here is a thread that has lots of the more common (and not so common) acronyms: http://rc-monster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7440 |
