Nomadio and Spektrum?
Hey guys, kind of a random one here. I sold my 3PKs, and need a radio to use for the time being. So its not really my first choice, but its better then a traxxas radio to go race lmao:lol::na: Because thats all I have around after selling my 3pks
Do the react radios work with spekky RX's? I seem to remember seeing something about that. Whats the whole low down on that? Thanks:mdr: |
The older DSM1 Spektrum receivers work great with the React. Just gotta make sure you have a new enough firmware version that will allow DSM to work with it. I've run at least 3 separate Pro and regular Spektrum RXs with no issues

So the new DX3R kind of RX's dont work?
But the older grey cased ones, and the super tiny one work? |
The firmware update was release well before Spektrum came out with their DSM2 stuff, so it's unlikely the DX3R receivers will work.
The gray ones, and the clear ones (Pro) will for sure work, the micros should also work because they are DSM1, but I haven't tried them. |
Ok sweet. So RX's will be cheap =)
Thanks Travis! |
Don't hold me to it, but I swear I read on the Nomadio forum that they would work with the DsmII also.
|
If they do, terrific! But it would be icing on the cake if the telemetry was compatible since Nomadio is no longer making RC stuff (no more receivers) so we could still get telemetry without buying used receivers.

Good to know. I have a spek RX laying around and didn't want to have to buy a TX for it. Go nomadio... :yipi:
