Wheelie bars and rear bumpers
I need a little advice. I use the Traxxas wheelie bar and rear bumper. I like this combination. it is inexpensive and durable. It will also break away in crashes without damage. I need a wheelie bar so that I can use more throttle on jumps.
This weekend I took a hard landing on my tail and broke the bumper. I am probably going to replace it, but I thought I would check to see what my options are....? Thanks |
Practice landing on all fours :rofl::rofl:. Sorry Mark, I just can't resist.
Anyway, the plastic parts are your best choice since it's a lot cheaper and easier to replace them. |
That is what I was doing. We were jumping the New Orleans levees. Everthing was fine until brother-in-law tried and landed from about 20 feet up straight on the rear bumper. The mounts held, bumper snapped and three of the four rear shocks had their bottom screws ripped out of my RPM arms.
