I'm testing Savage bumper brace anti-roll prototype
Something that may catch your guy's eyes. A gentlemen at the Savage-central.com forums has been having the same issue that alot of us Savage owners have been dealing with, the stupid bumper braces sometimes rotates and will allow the hinge pins for the arms to fall out on our Savages. The quick and easy fix was to wrap some zip ties and call it good. But this guy wanted to take it to the next step with something "nicer" looking as well as functional and he needed some prototypes field tested free of charge, so I figured what the hell and signed myself up! Welp, I just found a nice surprise in my mailbox today! Thanks again Team-TCS for giving me the chance to test these! I've never beta tested hardware before, so this will be fun! I"ll post my impressions once I get back from vacation next week and can bash with them.

That looks nice. What material is it made of?

Well, finally got the chance to try them today at my bash pit. Needless to say, the didn't fair so well after a half hour of semi hard bashing. I'll be informing TCS they need to make it out of more sturdier material. The front failed within the first few minutes, the rear held together but it doesn't experience the punishment the front bulkhead does.

hinge pin retainers
1 Attachment(s)
hi all... i designed and made these retainers for my and a few mates savage x due to this problem. i went with the savage bumper mounts and bolted them through the bulkhead, they never broke, here is the only picture i have as ive sold said savage now to go brushless Attachment 7339 i found the savage x bumper mounts to be pretty naff. i like your idea tho simple but effective maybe try 1.5-2.0mm thick nylon 6 and yes it looks much better than a cable tie
