strobe slipper
Well im building my new E-Maxx from scratch with aluminum parts. Its going to be nice. Im looking at the Strobe Slipper. Is that the one i will need, i have seen other people use higher performance slipper setups, which i want to use. What all do i need, and what is the best thing to use??
yes, it is the best. all you need is the strobe slipper, ofna 51tooth plastic spur, stock nut, spring, slipper disc, and preassure plates.
those are T-maxx stock parts right??
Yeah, anything besides the slipper, spur and bearing are stock e-t-maxx parts.
I run this strobe with great luck. It is the stuff.
so all i need are traxxas parts: 1994,4625 and 4622 right?
Right on!
and the 1994 can be replaced with a strobe sponge as well. with that, you can finetune it a tad better. (sponge can not be used with the G-maxx motor mount) it works flawless with the stock (like) motormount though) |
serum, where can we find the sprong? mike hasnt had any in a LONG time....
Don't know Squee, i have got no idea.
The Sprong probably can't be found at this point. Strobe hasn't made them! I am on the "list" whenever he produces them again, though. I am not out of stock by choice my friend. :)
Like strobe STOPPED producing them?
that's uncool? |
I own and like the strobe sprong to go with the strobe slipper. It runs nice and true.
I want to know if there is something stronger or a way to get a stronger pressure plates. I am having a problem with slipping and breaking the pins off on the pressure plates. I don't know what to do with it. I have melted a set of pads down and broke 3 sets of pins off. Can some one help me?
LOL!!
What gearing do you use Leroy? |
The biggest pinion i have is a 20. I have the 51 tooth spur. It seems if i got higher I will start having the cog problems again. Unless I put the two speed in it then it be awesome. Any ideas. I thought about getting a few made up. Maybe mike can help me. I can make or get made a pressure plate with out the two plate system and make it in one per side.
