correct screws for 220Kv motor to RC-M mount
 
Hi All,

What are the correct hex head screw to use to mount a Castle/Neu 2200KV motor to RCM Losi 8 motor mount (what thread, length etc).

i dont think there really is a "best" motor screw.. i regularly use whatever m3 screw i have sitting and it works just fine. but if I had to choose these would be my pick.

$2.39 for 6 screws with captured lock washers and an allen wrench -vs- $8.00 for two screws......................... you make the call.

price doesnt change the quality of the screws. theres a reason they are soo cheap.

thanks everyone for the info, people rave about the fat boys on the Traxxas forums. I'll grab some next time I order from tower.

I've order some ordinary m3x10 cap heads for the moment from an ebayer in Australia. That should get me through for the moment.

i stripped a thread on my vxl motor with those lunsford screws. i think it was my fault though. the washers aren't all that great in the lunsford kit. my motor still moved around quite a lot. i have better experience with the cheapo washers i got from taking my old busted weed eater apart lol.
