Still need help!!!
You guys had been very helpful with your suggestion for my cars, BX pro and soon to be Lazer. But I still need a little bit of help. More or less people agree for the 380c 9t with mgm 120 or 80. Will like to know how does this combo compares with the LRP/ Neo(9t) and the Novak SS in terms of speed and controlability on 6 cells or 2s lipo?
I read a review on RC car action about those and the LRP looked very good, even got 40mph top speed with very smooth power delivery. I will use my cars for local racing in a somewhat technical track. Any response will be great!!! Thanks::017: |
if your looking for pure speed look at the new novak 4.5r motor for the gtb controller.

I guess 4t brushless will be too much for offroad racing as it will be a brushed one.
What I want to know is in overall performance comparison. Which should be smoothest, have better aceleration and speed for offroad racing. Better yet is the present brushless as smooth on power delivery as the brushless? Thanks:017: |
do you mean "...as smooth on power delievery as the brushed?". if so, then yes, well at least for the most part. a sensorless system will cog slightly but a sensored system will not cog as much. although, a sensored system wont cog bad. anywho, i would go for teh 4.5r. remember you cant have to much power. not to mention, you can always turn down the epa on your radio or keep your finger out of it...

Good point!!!:017:

So probably the best racing set ups with 6 cells could be the sensored ones?
:017: |
For 6 cell setups on a track, the Novak and LRP systems are great.
