Newest addition to the family...

Well I ordered a savage flux today...I just couldn't pass up the $150 off from towerhobbies. I also ordered the castle link for it to tone down the punch control as I will be running 6s, I just need to pick up another TP lipo from the lhs.

So to make this thread worthwhile, here is my question.

I have one TP lipo I have been using since april ish with not very many runs on it, I doubt I have charged this thing more than 15 times... If I buy another identical lipo they should work fine together right? I will discharge this thing and charge it to see how many mah it takes.

I'll also get some pics when this thing arrives!

how many cycles does the current one have on it?

It's kind of hard to tell as I usually break the truck before I can fully kill the batt! LOL. Let's say 15 cycles.

Where did you get a $150 off coupon? I've only seen them as high as $60 off a $300 or higher order.

They will always be slightly imbalanced due to age and cycle usage but you could put 15 cycles through the new pack to help even it out...

Got it in an e-mail, it was up to $250 off if you spent 1K. I'd give you guys the code, but it says right in the e-mail "must use this e-mail to redeem code".

Linc suggested setting the lvc to 3.2V. I guess I could run the savage on just one 3s for 15 packs...lol.
