Spot the Difference (you'll like this)...

Item 1

Item 2

There are only two differences, one of them very small and pretty much insignificant, the other is inexcusable (and unmissable).

10 points for each difference spotted.

difference 1: one is way overpriced

difference 2: different alarm voltages 3.3 vs 3.0

Krawlin 06.27.2009 05:20 PM

Item 1 comes with some kind of a connector and Item 2 does not.

Item one is only $4.95, while MaxCraps rips you off, charging $19.99.

Sickening.

Item 2 does come with a connector, you just have to specify which type you want from the drop-down menu (must be a $15 balance tap connector...)

boring in Devon today, is it?

suicideneil 06.27.2009 06:38 PM

Just a tad.

_paralyzed_ 06.27.2009 06:48 PM

same in MN:intello:

BP-Revo 06.28.2009 04:19 AM

Ironically, even with paying the up-the-ass shipping from Hong Kong it is STILL cheaper than buying it at MaxCraps.

TexasSP 06.28.2009 09:14 AM

just another reason to not buy ma.......

BL_RV0 06.28.2009 01:33 PM

Maxamps- much more expensive, buzzer is a bit smaller, no connector
HC- cheap, buzzer is bigger. included connector

eovnu87435ds 06.30.2009 11:19 PM

item 2 fails unless you are using a 1s lipo... 2 wires, plugs into balance harness, unless that was it's design to not check all the cells incase there was a weaker one

Neils tip for the day:

Read the whole thread! :mdr:

Both items come with a balance plug connector, but regardless, they dont measure the voltage of each cell, just the total voltage in series. You are correct in that they dont check for a weaker cell as such, just the combined voltage.

TrueRc sells a similar itemn that DOES check individual cell voltages however...
