so i got the medusa &MM for my RCM .5

hello again folks , so I recieved an installed a 36 -60 3100 medusa and an MM and went to the track. The weight of this set up is 5lbs 5oz the punch was 50% and the timing is default. the batteries tried are 2s orian 3400/25c,2s reedy 5000 35c,3s reedy 3200 20c,3s tracpower 4900 29c all in good condition with from 10 to 40 or so full and partial cycles. The gearing tried was either 10,11,13/46.We tried punch settings all the way up to full and down to 50%.and in all the runs the top , mid &full throtle power was from fun to spookie but the initial pull was weak and delayed as if there was a high amount of throtle expo set in the radio we were going to try retarding the timing but we ran out of time and the track closed. Its not a cogging in the form of a pulse, its pull the trigger the motor emits a quiet whine and begins moveing slow to faster with a lagg that is hard to drive.im begining to think i should have got the 36 50 4800 but i dont know. any thoughts out there?the motors temps were esc around 80 to 90 and the motor was 90 to 125 in all the runs except the 10/46 gear on 3s witch went esc139 motor 162

Try raising the start power to medium. That motor is more of a 3s motor than 2s, so 2s will feel a bit weak due to low motor rpms. You may also try raising the timing to 15 (stock is 10 IIRC).

For 2s the 36-50-4800 is perfect! Excellent driveability and incredible power!
